Q&A

Q: How did you first get involved in orienteering?
A: I got involved through my parents. At first, I treated orienteering as more of a walk-in-the-woods with map and compass, accompanied by a trusted stuffed-animal!

Q: If you had one tip for young orienteers what would it be?
A: I would advise young orienteers to get exposure to as many maps and terrains as possible, whether that be through running on the map, or even doing some arm-chair orienteering from afar.

Q: What is your big life orienteering goal?
A: I would really love to be involved in orienteering for the rest of my life, currently as an athlete and coach, and in future as organising, competing, and fostering new participants in the sport.
