Q: If you had one tip for young orienteers what would it be?
A: Try to spend as much time as possible out in the woods, running challenging courses that advance your navigation skills. You'll become better at interpreting the terrain, reading maps accurately, and making quick smart decisions.
Q: What aspect of orienteering keep you interested and motivated to stay involved, train, and compete?
A: Each course presents unique challenges, diverse forests, and uncharted natural landscapes.  Orienteering is a sport that offers a true sense of adventure. What makes it even more rewarding is how training directly translates into improved results. Being able to track my growth not just over the years but throughout my entire career makes the journey even more fulfilling.
