Q: What is one thing you really want to work on in 2025?
A: I'd like to improve my confidence in using my compass. I feel like I tend to second guess myself often when I'm orienteering and slow down in situations when it is not necessary to.
Q: What aspect of orienteering keep you interested and motivated to stay involved, train, and compete?
A: I enjoy the process of slowly improving my orienteering technique and the satisfaction in seeing improving results and consistency. I also really enjoy running (shorter) middles, where you are either at your technical or physical limit the whole race. To me that is orienteering at its finest and I'm almost always eager to do more orienteering after a middle in unique or demanding terrain.
