Hall of Fame

Orienteering Canada recognizes excellence through five award categories, celebrating individuals who have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the sport:

• Order of Orienteering Canada - lifetime achievement
• Athlete Leadership – competitive excellence and community impact
• Officials Leadership – outstanding event, mapping, and technical leadership that has left its mark on the sports
• Coaching Leadership – long-term excellence in coaching and coach development
• Administrator Award of Distinction – visionary administrative leadership growing the sport regionally or nationally.

Help us honour those who shape Canadian orienteering - both on and off the map. The deadline to submit nominations is Feb 15, 2026.

Course d’orientation Canada reconnaît l’excellence à travers cinq catégories de prix, célébrant des personnes qui ont eu un impact significatif et durable sur la course d’orientation :

• Ordre de Course d’orientation Canada – Réalisation d’une vie
• Leadership des athlètes – Excellence sportive et impact communautaire
• Leadership des officiels – Contribution exceptionnelle à l’organisation d’événements, à la cartographie et au leadership technique ayant marqué le sport
• Leadership en entraînement – Excellence à long terme en entraînement et en développement des entraîneurs
• Prix de distinction en administration – Leadership administratif visionnaire contribuant à la croissance du sport à l’échelle régionale ou nationale
